Natural Gas and Alternative Energy: A Promising Combination 3/28/2010 [Washington Free Press] – This article discusses the effectiveness of natural gas, and how its consumption can be reduced by considering alternate energy sources.  One suggestion the article makes is to install solar panels for hot water heating systems.  The idea is that it would drastically reduce the consumption of natural gas related to hot water heaters by utilizing solar energy.
